20i offers support for some UK public sector domain names, allowing you to register and transfer the following domains:

  • .ac.uk
  • .gov.scot
  • .gov.uk
  • .gov.wales
  • .llyw.cymru

We also support .sch.uk domain names, but these can only be transferred into 20i, and not registered. Nominet is solely responsible for registrations of new .sch.uk domains. More information can be found here.

These domain names are primarily used to represent digital services that form part of government or public-sector administration, helping ensure they are recognised as authoritative and trustworthy.

Unfortunately, these second-level domains cannot be managed via the control panel due to the lack of API access provided by Jisc and CDDO/Nominet for these domain TLDs. Unfortunately, this means we cannot integrate these second-level domains into the control panel. However, if you require any domain management tasks to be completed, please contact our Support Team, who will be happy to assist.

You can find more information here about .ac.uk, .gov and .sch.uk domains.
