Why do I see a "Invalid session" error in Webmail?
If you experience the 'Invalid Session' error, whilst using Webmail, followed by being logged out. There are a couple of reasons why this may be happening;
- By default, the login session on Webmail is set to 180 minutes. If this time is exceeded, you should see an 'invalid session' error. Logging out and then trying to log in as a new session should rectify this error.
- A stale or invalid session cookie. Clearing the browser cache & cookies and then trying again may fix your problem.
- Logging into another mailbox via Webmail would also result in the invalid session error. At any given point, you can only have a singular login session. If you have accessed another mailbox since your initial login, you will need to log in once more.
