How to Manage Add-on Products in the Hostshop Product Catalogue
With Hostshop, we provide the ability to sell Hosting add-on products for a range of products and specifications. This includes anything from VPS Backups or Disk space addons, to Premium Mailboxes and Malware Scanning. In this guide, we will cover how to manage and update these product addons through the Product Catalogue.
How to update Web Hosting Add-ons
The Web Hosting add-ons that you can add to your product catalogue include Malware Scanning, MSSQL Databases (UK Only), Additional 10GB Mailbox Quota, Premium Mailboxes and Website Turbo. Once these products are added to your Hostshop, you may want to update the pricing, billing periods or even remove the product from your lineup.
To manage your current Web Hosting Add-ons, you will first need to navigate to your Hostshop Product Catalogue. Once in your Product Catalogue, you will want to locate the Web Hosting Product Category and edit the category itself - this can be done via the Edit icon in the categories header.

When editing a category directly, you will have the option of three pages. These will be Category Details, Category Products and finally the Add-on Products. If you click on Add-on Products here, you will be able to see all the current Web Hosting Add-ons that you offer. You can either set this to/from Sale, hide them from view or edit the billing information for each.

To edit the pricing or change the visibility and sale status of these offerings, you will simply need to click on the Edit Icon under the actions column, and this will allow you to change the pricing for a product and its billing periods.
How to update VPS Add-ons
The Virtual Private Server add-ons that you can add to your product catalogue are mainly focused on the Unmanaged Options. The VPS Add-on offerings include: VPS Backups (in increasing VPS Size increments), Disk Space upgrades (in 50GB increments), a secondary Dedicated IP for the server and finally cPanel licenses. Once these products are added to your Hostshop, you may want to update the pricing, billing periods or even remove the product from your lineup.
To manage your current Virtual Private Server Add-ons, you will first need to navigate to your Hostshop Product Catalogue. Once in your Product Catalogue, you will want to locate the Virtual Private Server Product Category. This is where both your Managed and Unmanaged VPS options are present. From there, you will want to edit the category itself - this can be done via the Edit icon in the categories header.

Similar to the Web Hosting Add-ons, when editing a category directly, you will have the option of Category Details, Category Products and Add-on Products. If you click on Add-on Products, you will then be taken to a page where you can see all the current Virtual Private Server Add-ons and the different tiers that you offer. You can either set this to/from Sale, hide them from view or edit the billing information for each.

The process to update the pricing and billing periods for the Virtual Private Server Add-ons is similar to the Web Hosting ones above, and you will simply need to click on the Edit Icon under the Actions column, and this will allow you to change the product pricing and billing periods.
