Add an additional Data Centre location to your Reseller account
When you purchase a Reseller Hosting account, you'll choose a primary data centre location during signup. This location is included with your reseller package and will be used by default whenever you create a new hosting package.
As your reseller business grows, you may find that your customers are located in different parts of the world. Hosting websites closer to your customers can reduce latency, improve page load times and provide a better experience for visitors, particularly for dynamic websites such as WordPress, WooCommerce and other database-driven applications.
20i currently offers reseller hosting in three global locations:
- London, UK (LHR) – Best for customers in the UK and Europe.
- Dallas, USA (DFW) – Ideal for customers in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
- Singapore (SIN) – Best for customers across Asia-Pacific.
You can purchase additional data centre locations at any time, allowing you to provision new hosting packages in multiple regions from a single reseller account. Each location is purchased separately, so you only pay for the locations you need.
Please note: Purchasing an additional data centre location allows you to create new hosting packages in that location. Existing hosting packages will remain in their current data centre unless they are migrated separately. Packages can be migrated to new locations using our Platform Transfer tool.
How to purchase an additional data centre location
- Log in to My20i:
- From the left-hand navigation menu, select Order Services.
- Click Additional DC Location.
You'll be taken to the Order Additional Data Centre Locations page.
Any data centre locations that you don't already own will be available to purchase.
- Click Activate beneath the location you'd like to add.
If you'd like to purchase more than one location, repeat the process before proceeding to checkout.
- Complete the checkout process to activate your new data centre location(s).
Once your order has been processed, the new location will be available immediately when creating new hosting packages.

Which data centre locations are available?
You can currently add the following locations to your reseller account:

Your primary location is selected when you first purchase your reseller account. Any additional locations can be added later.
Can I purchase just one additional location?
Yes. Each location is purchased independently, so you can add whichever locations you require.
For example, if your primary location is London, you could choose to add:
- Dallas only
- Singapore only
- Both Dallas and Singapore
Can I create hosting packages in any of my locations?
Yes. Once a location has been added to your reseller account, you'll be able to choose that data centre whenever you create a new hosting package.
Will my existing hosting packages move automatically?
No. Purchasing an additional data centre location does not migrate your existing hosting packages.
If you'd like an existing website hosted in another region, it will need to be transferred separately. Packages can be easily migrated to new locations using our Platform Transfer tool.
Can I cancel an additional data centre location?
Yes. Additional data centre locations are renewable subscriptions with no minimum term commitment and can be cancelled if they are no longer required.
Which location should I choose?
As a general rule, you should create hosting packages in the data centre that's geographically closest to the website's primary audience.
For example:
- Choose London for customers based in the UK and Europe.
- Choose Dallas for customers in North, Central and South America.
- Choose Singapore for customers across Asia-Pacific.
Selecting the nearest data centre can help reduce latency and improve the performance of dynamic websites and applications.
