How to use the Sitemap Generator
Our Sitemap Generator helps you easily create an XML sitemap that lists all the pages on your website that search engine bots can access, allowing them to crawl and index your site more effectively. In this guide, we’ll show you how to generate a sitemap using the Sitemap Generator available in your 20i dashboard.
What is a Sitemap?
A sitemap is a comprehensive map of your website that enables search engines and visitors to easily navigate its pages and content. An XML sitemap is essentially a file that stores information about the pages, videos, and other content on your site, as well as the relationships between them. All of this is based on the data you added to the file yourself.
Using the 20i Sitemap Generator
Instead of manually generating a sitemap file, we offer a free sitemap generator for all our customers. You can find the sitemap generator on the Service Overview Page for your desired package. The sitemap generator icon would be under the Web Tools section.

Alternatively, you can scroll down the Service Overview page until you reach the Sitemap Generator Icon: 
The Sitemap Generator will crawl your website and create an XML sitemap. The generator adheres to your robots.txt rules, so only the pages you want to be indexed will be listed in the sitemap.
When you're ready to generate your Sitemap, you can click the Generate Button.
Please note: Depending on the number of URLs on your site, generating the sitemap may take longer than a few minutes.
With our sitemap generator, you can also set a frequency interval to have your sitemap generated on a schedule. We support Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly generation. Our Tool also provides the option to upload your new sitemap file directly to your package's webspace , making it easy to include in your robots.txt file
Once complete, you can manually download your sitemap , making it easier to use on third-party services like Google Search Console.
Common Questions
How do I add the Sitemap to my Robots.txt file?
In your robots.txt file, specify the sitemap argument to point to the URL of the sitemap.xml file. An example of what this looks like is:

It is recommended to have your sitemap.xml file in the root location of your website. i.e accessible from yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml.
