DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) is a way to stop or reduce email spam and phishing attacks. It is based on existing email authentication methods using SPF (Sender Policy Framework) or DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)

To use the DMARC Wizard tool, you need to have a domain name and an email service that supports DMARC. You can use the tool to create a DMARC policy for your domain and add it to your DNS records.

Here are the steps to use the DMARC Wizard tool:

  1. Log in to your My20i account and go to Manage Hosting > Options > Manage.
  2. Click on DMARC Wizard under Email.
  3. Choose your domain name in the Domain field.
  4. Choose the requested policy type from the drop-down menu. The recommended option is None if you are unsure. This means that you only want to monitor the DMARC reports and not take any action on the emails that fail the DMARC check.
  5. Optionally, you can click on Advanced Options to customize your DMARC policy further. You can specify the DKIM identifier, the SPF identifier, the policy percentage, and the action to take on emails that fail the DMARC check.
  6. Click on Add DMARC to generate the DMARC record for your domain.
  7. We'll add the DNS record automatically for you, it's added as a TXT record with _dmarc as the host name.

You have successfully added a DMARC record for your domain using the DMARC Wizard tool. You can now monitor the DMARC reports and adjust your policy as needed. For more information on DMARC, please visit https://dmarc.org/.
